Who we are

Huereka is built by Nikku Ang ("we", "us"). This privacy policy applies to the Huereka mobile app on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Reach us at nikkuang@gmail.com for any privacy questions.

Data Huereka collects on its own

None that leaves your device. Your game state — current board, best score, settings (haptics on/off, music volume, etc.) — is saved locally on your phone. We do not have a backend server. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal data through the app itself.

Data collected by ads (Google AdMob)

Huereka displays a single banner advertisement at the top of the game screen, served by Google AdMob. AdMob collects the following to serve ads and measure performance:

• Device identifiers, including the Advertising Identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android)
• Device type, OS version, language, and approximate (IP-based) location
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, view time)
• Crash and performance diagnostics from the ad SDK

Google's full disclosure of how AdMob uses this data is at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Google may share data with advertising partners. You can review the partner list inside the consent dialog shown on first launch (EU/EEA users) or in your device's ad settings.

iOS: App Tracking Transparency

On first launch (iOS 14+), iOS shows a system prompt asking whether you allow Huereka to track activity across apps and websites for advertising. If you choose Allow, AdMob may serve personalized ads using your IDFA. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, AdMob serves non-personalized ads only — the game works the same either way.

EU / UK / Switzerland: GDPR consent

Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland see a Google-provided consent dialog on first launch. You can grant, partially grant, or refuse consent for ad personalization. Refusal means non-personalized ads only.

California / US: state privacy rights

US users in regulated states see Google's standard privacy notice on first launch with an option to limit "sharing of personal data" as defined under state privacy laws (CCPA / CPRA et al.).

Data collected by Game Center / Google Play Games

Huereka offers optional integration with platform gaming services for leaderboards and achievements. If you choose to sign in:

• iOS (Apple Game Center): your Game Center nickname and best score are stored on Apple's servers. Apple's privacy policy applies — see apple.com/legal/privacy.
• Android (Google Play Games): your Play Games gamer ID, profile, best score, and achievement state are stored on Google's servers. Google's privacy policy applies — see policies.google.com/privacy.

You can use Huereka without signing in to either service — leaderboards and achievements are entirely optional.

Children's privacy

Huereka is family-friendly but not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. AdMob's maximum content rating is set to "G" (general audiences) in our settings — Google filters ad content accordingly. If you believe a child has provided data to a third-party service we use, please contact us and we will help you remove it.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Reset your local save: delete and reinstall the app, or use the in-app "Reset" option (when available).
• Opt out of personalized ads (iOS): Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → toggle Huereka off.
• Opt out of personalized ads (Android): Settings → Google → Ads → toggle "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
• Reset your Advertising Identifier: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Reset Identifier. Android Settings → Google → Ads → Reset Advertising ID.
• Revoke GDPR consent (EU): open Huereka → tap the "Privacy options" link inside the Options screen (re-opens the consent dialog).
• Delete your Game Center / Play Games data: use Apple or Google's account settings — we do not have direct control over their stored data.

Data retention

We do not retain any data because we do not collect any data ourselves. Third-party services (AdMob, Game Center, Play Games) follow their own retention policies linked above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if we change SDKs or add features that affect data collection. Changes appear on this page with an updated "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be flagged in the next app update's release notes.
